Tamara Monroe is the co-founder of Lovebirds Donuts, recognized by HappyCow as one of the Top 10 Donut Shops in the World and honored with PETA’s Top Doughnuts Award. Tamara’s mission is to make plant-based living approachable while helping dispel stigma around it. She also serves on the Board of the Center for Wildlife in Cape Neddick. She lives in York with her partner, stepdaughter, dog, and pigeons.
Michael Burrows

Gardening While Vegan

Michael Burrows lives in Windham with wife, baby, and dogs. He holds a PhD in public policy from Duke University, specializing in demography, environmental sociology, and quantitative methodology, and works for the U.S. Census Bureau. He has a particular interest in how we can gently adapt routine behaviors to inflict less suffering.

Dr. Cardella completed medical school in 2014 and her residency in 2017 at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and is board certified in Family Medicine. In May 2024 she opened her own practice in Topsham – Aegle Radiant Health. Dr. Cardella’s mission is to help her patients achieve their health goals through a personalized approach that contains lifestyle change, plant-predominant nutrition, exercise, and medication management, if needed.
