Matthew C. Halteman will speak about his book “Hungry Beautiful Animals: The Joyful Case for Going Vegan.”
Mat Halteman is professor of philosophy at Calvin University, MI, and fellow in the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics, UK. In addition to being the author of Hungry Beautiful Animals,: The Joyful Case for Going Vegan, he is also the co-editor of Philosophy Comes to Dinner: Arguments about the Ethics of Eating.
Tim Holland, will speak on “The Joy of Vegan Cheese and Meat Making.”
Tim Holland is the founder of Midcoast Vegan in Brusnwick, Maine. Midcoast Vegan specializes in fermented and cultured plant-based cheeses, seitan based meats and a rotating selection of ready to eat foods.
